Nashville, Tennessee's, 5’8" Johnny Rabb was the first man in history to break 1,000 Single Strokes in 60 Seconds! Johnny was also the first WFD Champ to get International TV coverage of his World Record when VH-1 included his 1,071 Single Stroke record on their show, Rock N Roll Record Breakers. Johnny is an active touring and recording drummer and has performed with a range of artists including Deana Carter, Tanya Tucker, SheDaisy, Hank Williams III, Mindy McReady, and Maynard Ferguson. He continues to perform with his original band Super Action Heroes and Atomic. Additionally, Johnny is an active clinician, performing master-classes and workshops worldwide. His Warner Bros. Publications release Jungle/Drum ‘n’ Bass for the Acoustic Drumset was voted the #1 instructional book in Modern Drummer Magazine’s 2003 Reader’s Poll. Known as an acoustic machine, he continues to develop original and innovative grooves on the drumset. He performs his electronic music as a one man “Drum Jockey” providing a high-energy audio/visual performance to sporting and music events worldwide. He is also working on a new DVD and Book for the Freehand Technique to be released later this year.

When asked how his involvement in WFD has impacted himself and/or others, Johnny says, "I have been proud to be working with the WFD for the past 4+ years. It is a totally positive organization and continues to grow daily! It has helped me reach people other than drummers with my music and musical ideas. This program keeps me in check. The bar has been raised to such a high level of technical and physical skill that it forces me to continue on a path of physical development. It has really shown the world that there is room for drumming to be a fun activity for all to participate in. It also can be a serious, but fun competitive sport. Watch as it grows in the upcoming years. Soon all will know what the WFD is and what it stands for."
